Rhan is rooted in its meaning of a 'part' or 'portion' of the whole.
One intricate design is used to create beautiful individual pieces drawn from the same source. These we can wear, share, and through them connect.
Our story begins with a single sheet of hand-worked metal, shaped with care and taking inspiration from the ancient craft of repousse.
Each piece draws from the natural world, personal growth, and the invisible threads that join us. All to create jewellery with history, texture, and meaning.

Sustainable Materials
We believe in jewellery that honours the planet. At every stage — from making to packaging we strive to reduce waste, lower our impact, and support our local community.
Eco‑friendly packaging
All our packaging is 100% recyclable and biodegradable. We avoid plastic and foam entirely, using natural materials that can return safely to the earth.
Zero waste mindset in production
Wherever possible, we minimise material waste. Metal off‑cuts are saved, recycled, and reused. We also repurpose stock storage bags instead of purchasing new ones, giving existing materials a second life.
Local sourcing & low‑impact operations
We aim to source all materials from the UK, or Europe if needed, to keep transport emissions low. Our casting is done by an independent maker just half an hour from our workshop, supporting regional businesses and reducing our carbon footprint.
Our Metals
Knowing where our metal comes from and the impact it has on our world is of central importance to us at Rhan.
The 'AgAIN' silver which we use is both traceable and is guaranteed to have been recycled from medical X-Ray film here in the UK. Reducing emissions, reusing precious material and supporting our economy.
We also offer all our pieces in fairmined and fairtrade certified gold which aims to ensure responsible mining including safe working conditions, protection of the environment and fair pay for miners to support their families and communities.
